The main goal of the Surgeon General’s Healthy People 2010 is to
increase quality and years of life.
Physical Activity and Overweight & Obesity are 2 of the 10 Leading Health Indicators to track America’s progress towards these goals.
As a country, we need to adapt our lifestyle, both at home and at work, to
promote the well-being of our families through good eating habits and regular physical activity.
At New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia University Medical Center
we encourage a healthful environment that will
provide our employees and their families
information to incorporate good nutrition and regular exercise into their lives.
Together, we can pursue these opportunities to improve our health and the health of our loved ones.
Explore this site to learn about what you can do, here at work, to start on your path to a long and healthy life.
